Hotel Mewar Shine

About Us

A gorgeous home in the forest

The Umri is a yellow building squatting on a small elevation overlooking an orchard in which you can hear the wild boar rooting for mushrooms at night. Or the soft presence of deer at night, foraging for food in the wild grass. The village of Urmikhaal, after which The Umri takes its name is a small remote village accessed from the main road by a path that leads up a slope. The Umri itself is situated on the old British road that leads to Lansdowne cantonment town which is a trek of about 10 to 12 kilometers which avid walkers finish in a few hours and are back in time for lunch.
